The Electro-Acuscope and Myopulse are FDA approved instruments created originally for use on humans. This system has been used in physical therapy clinics, doctor's offices, and hospitals around the country since the mid 1970's. Some of the athletic teams who have used the Acuscope/Myopulse System include: San Francisco 49ers, Pittsburgh Steelers, Oakland A's, San Francisco Giants, US Water Ski Team, Utah Jazz, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the LA Rams.
Acuscope/Myopulse Therapy compliments traditional veterinary procedures to ensure a quicker recovery for the animal. There is a steadily increasing number of people who have been trained by qualified instructors to use these instruments on animals. After participating in an extensive training program one can become a Certified Animal Acuscope/Myopulse Therapist. We feel this information is very important and should be shared with the "animal" public. Additional reading materials are available. We hope you find this form of therapy as interesting and beneficial as we do.
